We rented a jeep and drove around the island. This island is divided by the Dutch and French sides. Maho Beach is the famous beach the planes land really close to the water.
Sint Maarten is a 34 square-kilometre constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands occupying the southern 44% of a shared Caribbean island (the northern 56% is French Saint Martin). Its capital is Philipsburg, and it is famous for lively beaches, cruise ports, and low-flying planes at Maho Beach.
